One of the first stops on the trip was Rome. The one thing his wife wanted to do whilst in Rome was to sit outside something beautiful, enjoy an Italian coffee, and bask in the sunshine. Low and behold, the price for that caffeine and cake hit was easily three times more than usual. Yet, value doesn't exist solely in the commodity. Value is created and given in experience too. Often in business, we can be so product focused, we forget to create value in an experience for customers.
