It’s been a big start to the year for illumin8!
Not only have we launched our new ‘lightening the load’ initiative, but we’re excited to welcome two new additions to our team.
Meet Michael Walter and Shane Scott…
Michael ‘Mick’ Walter joins the team as our Accounting Team Manager and brings with him a wealth of Tax and Accounting advisory and Management experience.
Mick is husband to Verity and father to Zara and will be joined by another little one due in February. As a Mornington Peninsula local, Mick enjoys taking the family out to explore the Peninsula, especially taking his daughter Zara down to play at the park. Mick is a lover of all sports, but especially AFL and his beloved Bombers (apparently he attends every game!), and is metal music lover noting Metallica, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath among his favourite bands.
Shane Scott joins Brett and Josh in the Accounting team and brings his ‘tech wizard’ skills to the office, often fixing issues before they arise!
Shane’s idea of fun consists of running half marathons and, if he had a choice, he’d eat greek yoghurt for every meal. Joining Kristie as one of illumin8′s ‘fitness freaks’, Shane loves keeping fit, training most days of the week. He can swim 45 metres underwater in one breath! Even before joining the illumin8 team, Shane was associated with illumin8, playing competitive basketball against Andrew on a Monday night. The rivalry continues…
